1. His thoughts on pronouns. He and Clarkson will usually refer to people by their chosen pronouns, e.g. calling Blossom and Lily Tino "she." Why?

2. What would it take to get him and Clarkson to never, ever, ever discuss Blossom or Lily Tino again?

3. Does he feel like he's stuck in a position of "outrage for a living"? Does it get old?

I second #3! I unsubscribed from Brad's YouTube because I realized I felt worse after watching his videos: all the crazies made me feel like the world is worse than it actually is. Not that weird, infuriating people don't exist, but I only saw them because of his videos!

Yeah I have to leave it sometimes, or there are times when I'm like, whoops, too much outrage, I'm slipping into being a person I don't want to be. I have to moderate my exposure.

Does his forehead get tense from all that incredulous rumpling of the brow?

Can I ask why he

a) makes those horrible faces in his YouTube video thumbnails?

b) is fine with publicly livestreaming executing people like the USA is Al-Qaeda or ISIS?

PJ's avatar

He's fine with American gulags and death squads but has a hissy fit over something a woke nobody posted on Blue Sky.

IIRC he said on Twitter that live-streaming an execution would force people to grapple with the fact that their country still uses capital punishment, rather than turning a blind eye to it (unless I’m mixing him up with someone else lol).

I heard "Woke 1 was crazy!" and yet you can still get fired for white lady corn rows. So, what gives? Has woke plateaued? If so, what happens next?

In 2026 do you believe it is easier or harder to come out without also buying into the larger left political project than say 10 years ago.

I've heard you discuss the situation with the soccer team rejecting you in DC due to your beliefs. But did you have any other experiences in DC when other gays found out about your heterodox beliefs, such as when dating or at social events?

Welp, time to cancel. Degenerate MAGAs don’t get my time or money

There’s that leftwing tolerance we all know and love 🫶

My husband likes the pod, otherwise I would do the same. Meh, husband will get over it. Primo canceled. At least we still have The Fifth Column, and The Bulwark.

What's his hair care routine?

I don't have a question, but wanted to say Brad is my favorite of your guests on the "not a podcast" episodes. Maybe this will be a podcast episode! His podcast "Normal Gays" helped add a lot of humor when I was going through some difficult times so I really appreciate his work! The tarot reading Blossom did was classic!!

Do you regret being a major voice defending grifter Eliza Bleu? You just went quiet after she was exposed as a fraud.

Does he think that there’s a redemption arc in Nick Fuentes’ future? He’s been dialing back his rhetoric a lot lately.

How does it feel to be a less masculine Chaya Raichik?

Am I to understand that Brad is now Matt Welch?

As a fellow Brad, I'm curious what you think of our name. I admit I've never really liked it. For one, it's just always sounded very dweeby to me, especially when used as the full Bradley; for another, my surname starts with a D, so when I say my name, the two D sounds just blend together and people often have a hard time figuring out what my name is. It has grown on me a tad over the years, though, as my wife loves it, and I do enjoy that it's a good Old English name (meaning it's made up of Old English parts, not that it's something like Edward or Oswald which people actually had as given names).

I went to school with a kid named Brad and I always thought it was fascinating to have the same name as an office supply

When I first learned that there was a tool called a Brad Nailer, I thought that would be a great name for a porn star.

I MEAN HELLO YES

To me "brads" were small brass nails, https://www.lowes.com/n/buying-guide/difference-between-brad-and-finish-nails

The office supply was a "paper fastener"

Yep, one or a few sources my elementary school-aged teasing is that shared name.

Is it short for Bradward?
