Blocked and Reported has no presence on TikTok or Instagram. We want to change that but we aren’t sure it’s worth the effort. Maybe you can help?
Ideally, here’s what we’d do:
-establish BARPod accounts on TikTok and Instagram
-regularly post to both of them with peppery snippets from past or current episodes, primo and free
-gradually build up these presences to draw on gigantic pools of potential listeners who are not currently aware of BARPod
The main challenge is that for now, we have no intention of turning on the cameras to do video recordings of our episodes, and of course our archive is audio-only. So the question of how to visualize these clips… it’s tricky! While we want more listeners, we’re not sure how this would work or if the juice would be worth the squeeze.
If — and only if — you have experience with this sort of social media management and are interested in working with us, send a one-page strategy document (not longer) to blockedandreportedpodcast@gmail.com, subject line “social media manager,” laying out what your approach would be, including key details like how often you’d post to these accounts, what sort of content you’d focus on, and what you would charge us. Definitely include a quick rundown of your prior experience as well.
If we get any proposals that strike us as intriguing, we’ll reach out to the sender(s), but we won’t be able to respond otherwise, unfortunately. Obviously feel free to forward this to anyone in your orbit who has talent and experience in this area.
Thanks,
J+K
