Come to Chicago or I will loudly proclaim at the Fifth Column event here this Summer that Katie is a coward (to say Jesse is a coward is too self-evident)

I don't live close to anything. Even Chicago is far. :(

I’m in Ohio and would gladly settle for a show in Pittsburgh or Indianapolis!

Being from the west coast, this comment threw me because I think of Ohio as basically Kansas, so imagine my surprise when I looked on a map and yall are almost east coast! The states over there are so tiny and crammed together.

Ohio is like a 12 hour drive from the east coast my dude.

The fact that I don't know if you mean that's close or far is kinda my point. 12 hours MIGHT get you across 2 states over here. It'd be, what, 5 over there?

5 hours in the middle of the night (to avoid traffic) can get you from just inside New Hampshire, through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Conneticut, a cup of coffee in New York and across the bridge into New Jersey.

The fact that you don’t know says a bit more about you than about anyone else.

It’s a bit closer than that. Cleveland to NYC is 7.5 hr

Cleveland is 7 hours from Philadelphia, and where I live (in the midwest) 7 hours is a reasonable drive sometimes. I prefer to drive to Pittsburgh vs flying, for example, and plan to drive to western IA in a few weeks. (I do not agree non-western states are tiny and crammed together, but I also do not live in WY or MT.)

Ohio gets smooshed together and peoples minds with Iowa. It’s no wonder. They both have way too many vowels and an astonishing number of syllables for each having only four letters.

Living in Halifax means I never get to see podcasts. This makes me a marginalized minority and I demand retribution.

Why do Jesse and Katie hate Chicago so much, when there is a house with a fenced in yard for Moose and secure van parking 10 minutes from downtown? Jesse will have to stay elsewhere though because of his barf problem.

Why do you hate your Seattle listeners? Is it because you don’t want to deal with protesters?

I see a lot of people yelling about venues without understand the obvious pattern here: BARPOD goes where influential 1990s/2000s television comedies took place.

Boston has Ally McBeal, Philadelphia has Always Sunny and New York has Seinfeld.

Thus, chances are good for Alaska (Northern Exposure), Texas (King of the Hill) and California (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). The rest of you should've been funnier I suppose.

Sacramento is easier to get in and out of. SF is a nightmare if you don’t live there. Someplace on the Peninsula wouldn’t be too bad though.
